Counselling is talking, sharing and learning. It is a collaborative shedding of new light on a familiar challenge.

Counselling is a helpful approach that may explore the emotional and intellectual experience of a client, how a client is feeling and what they think about the challenge they have sought help for.  Counselling is often less concerned with the past experiences and generally more focused developing techniques to better handle what is going on now, and the future.
